  7. A great example of a TV news station using Facebook to crowdsource photos during a breaking news event. WTKR NewsChannel 3 also provided valuable coverage to its fans while enlisting their help in gathering photos of the crash.
    Fans began to submit photos to the station by posting them to the WTKR NewsChannel 3 Facebook Page. The Page then reposted some of the more vivid photos from the scene of the crash as part of their coverage of the event.
