Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 Logo Leaked, Reveal Trailer Release Date Outed?

Last year Activision got embarrassed quite a bit after the huge Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 leak, it was actually rather uncharacteristic for the franchise. This year as you might expect, Activision has been pretty silent on the next installment but another leak might have ruined all that. We won’t say it’s a HUGE leak but it does appear that the logo for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been leaked along with a possible date for the game’s debut trailer. This was a classic case of fans snooping and being a bit too good at it. Some members of the Call Of Duty forums managed to pull the image from http://www.callofduty.com/bo2/images (has since been removed). If you try to hit it now you just get an error page, but this isn’t some piece of art appearing out of nowhere, this was actually found on the game’s official website which lends some credence to this.

In a bit more news, an additional image also shows the date 4.28.12, with the words “Reveal Trailer Is Coming” which leaves nothing to the imagination there.  If the date seems eerily familiar to you, that’s because on the same day two years ago we got the first Black Ops reveal trailer. Here’s a fact that might surprise a lot of you, Call Of Duty: Black Ops is still the best-selling game in the franchise with sales of over 25 million to date.
