Josh Lucas to play Charles Lindburgh in Clint Eastwood's 'J. Edgar'

I thought it was odd to see Damon Herriman cast as Bruno Hauptmann in Clint Eastwood's biopic, J. Edgar. Hoover's only connection to Hauptmann, the guy convicted and executed for the crime of murdering the son of  Charles Lindbergh, was that he opened an investigation into the handling of his case which was fraught with allegations of wrongdoing.  It didn't seem like a plot worthy of exploration, but apparently I was wrong, because Josh Lucas(Stealth) has just been cast as the famous aviator, Charles Lindbergh.

Deadline has the story. Lucas will be joining a growing and extremely impressive cast consisting of Leonardo Dicaprio, Armie Hammer, Judi Dench, Herriman, and Ed Westwick.
