Hey Jeremy.. I think we lived on the same floor one semester at BGSU. Did you live in Kreisher Quad (I can't remember which hall.. um, it was the one that wasn't all-girl.) It would've been Fall of 93 I think.

    2. jzawodn (79 months ago | reply)

In fact, I did. I was in Kreisher for 3 years. I lived on the 3rd floor, then the 1st, then the 2nd--I think.

      That would have been 92-95ish.

sorry to interrupt the college reunion, but Jeremy, that is an excellent headshot. nice job.

    4. joff (79 months ago | reply)

Are you wearing makeup? Nice shot!

    5. jzawodn (79 months ago | reply)

Yeah, I was painted so as not to shine and scare the camera.

I believe that's the first time I've ever worn makeup--at least in recent history.

    6. jzawodn (79 months ago | reply)

Speaking of which... Joff, where's your mug?

You should have this one on your blog instead of the one where you are standing infront of the mountains. This has a more "business" look and looks great!

    9. Troutgirl (79 months ago | reply)

Oooh! You have dreamy eyes, Zwoddy. :-)

And can I second the motion to get rid of your old blog photo? My issue isn't that it's insufficiently "businessy", but that you look like a CIA agent. :-P

    10. sun_nc_78 (79 months ago | reply)

      extremely crisp shot.

    11. joff (79 months ago | reply)

So my mug was not as nice as your mug...so I'm just going to use yours!

    12. Jeffrey Friedl (79 months ago | reply)

So, tell us about how the shot came about. Professional photographer? It's indeed fantastic. As good as I am at taking certain kinds of shots (inside of lense cap, etc.), portraits are some of the hardest.

And as far as makeup goes, I think you forget the time you and Josh got drunk at one of the Y! bashes a few years ago. Mmm, perhaps I shouldn't bring that episode up...

    13. jzawodn (79 months ago | reply)

I think the PR folks got tired of not having an official headshot when conference organizers ask for one. The one I had been using was ~4 years old, outdoors, and I was wearing sun glasses. So it wasn't ideal.

    14. davemc500hats (79 months ago | reply)

wow, i think that stare is burning a hole in my monitor...

    15. daviddhall (79 months ago | reply)

Maybe it's just me, but your hair looks like it was drawn on (and so do your glasses). I'm allowed to say that because I don't have any hair. Or glasses for that matter.

    16. jzawodn (79 months ago | reply)

Heh, drawn on hair. That'd be funny.

    17. @boetter (77 months ago | reply)

Quite good photographer too. Did he tell you to wear the makeup? ;-)

      Hey Jeremy,
Today was the third time I tried to comment on your blog (about Amr's post) but was redirected to a "DSBL: Listing Data" page.

Since I don't have a dedicated IP at home, it seems you have my ISP (Alltel.net) blocked.

Just wanted to say please open up your comments to legitimate commenters like me and please don't make us pay for someone who has used this IP in the past.

Glad Im unknown(and I want to stay that way) and not needing of a headshot

If I did indeed need a headshot , this is what I would assume the defacto standard would be

This photo got into my faves for the excellent effort on weight loss. Thanks for sharing all the good stuff with us.

I did loose a lot in past (from 275 to 218), but the weight keeps creeping back up (233 after 4 years). It's been exactly like you said: one more snack too many and wham. Plus, of course, the famous "I'm not eating all day long but will devaour a big dinner" thing.

Long story short, your xls rocks. Thanks so much for sharing!

      Jeremy,
Your suggesting that CFO's be 'outsourced' to India strongly suggests how little you know about what a CFO actually does. I would encourage you do do a little homework before you make such absurd comments.

Wow! I've done a couple more google searches since that last post. You've really done something since way back then. You're even on Wikipedia!!! How can I email you directly...we are talking about getting a 20 year reunion going. Would you make the trip back to T-Town? I'm coaching soccer at SJ now and working as an IT consultant. I still keep touch with a lot of the guys from our grade school class.

Hey I tried to run your perl script for the car search but I get an error

"Could not find cl-carfind.xml in ./ at cl-carfind.pl line 23"

I guess I need a xml file as well? Maybe I get the xml from CL RSS feed?

Not sure how the script works but thought I would run it to see what it spit out...
