Digging In: the 2012 National Farm to Cafeteria ConferenceJoin us August 2-5, 2012 in Burlington, Vermont for the 6th National Farm to Cafeteria Conference: Digging In!. The conference will bring together people from a wide range of fields who are breaking down barriers and expanding the impact of Farm to Cafeteria. Proposals are due March 7; registration opens in May.
Current Federal Policy Initiatives: From our Roots to Washington, DCUSDA recently launched the Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food Compass, a new electronic tool to navigate USDA's programs that support local and regional food systems.
