Bridgette Lynn Caquatto was born on March 14, 1994 to Dave and Lin Caquatto. Bridgette, or Bridgey as she is known in the gymnastics world is in 12th grade at Naperville Central High School. During Bridgey's free time, she loves to go fishing or playing with her pet turtle.

Bridgey started gymnastics when she was only two years old. She is currently competing as a senior international elite gymnast. She trains at Legacy Elite Gymnastics under coaches Jiani Wu and Yuejiu Li . Bridgey is not the only Caquatto with gymnastics talent; older sister MacKenzie is also an international elite gymnast!

In 2006, Bridgey competed as a level 9 and qualified to Level 9 Easterns. She finished 5th in the all-around. In 2007, Bridgey competed her first year as a level 10. She started her year at a few invitationals, such as St. Nick, Sand Dollar, Bravo Classic, and Circle of the Stars. She finished 3rd in the all-aroud or higher in all invitationals. At Level 10 States, she placed 2nd in the all-around and qualified to Level 10 Regionals. Bridgey then placed 2nd in the all-around, 1st on vault, 2nd on balance beam and floor exericse at Level 10 Regionals. At the 2007 JO National Championships, she finished 8th in the all-around. Bridgey took first place on vault and third place on balance beam. She then qualified to junior international elite shortly after the level ten season. She competed at the US Classic, where she finished 19th in the all-around.

At the beginning of 2008, Bridgey had a great showing at the Sand Dollar Invitational in Orlando, Florida. She took home silver medals on vault and floor. In February, Bridgey and her teammates traveled to the Dragon Invitational for the elite qualifier. She placed 4th in the all-around, 3rd on vault, 4th on uneven bars, and 2nd on floor exercise. The next day, she flew home and competed at the IGI Chicago Style. She finished 3rd in the all-around in a highly competitive field. That following weekend, she attended an Elite Training Camp at the National Team Training Center in Texas. While she was there, she qualified to junior international elite! That same month, she competed at the Circle of Stars Invitational. She won the all-around title as well as vault, bars, and beam. Bridgey then easily won the all-around title at her home meet, Midwest Open.

In May 2008, both Caquatto sisters traveled to Coppell, Texas for the May National Elite Qualifier hosted by Texas Dreams Gymnastics. Both sisters showed very impressive results, where they both qualified to the VISA Championships in Boston, MA! Bridgey went to US Classic as a warm-up before her first VISA Championships. She finished 16th in the all-around and 6th on floor exercise. At the VISA Championships, Bridgey did extremely well on vault and floor exercise, where she placed 6th and 8th respectively. She finished 21st in the all-around.

Bridgey started her 2009 season at an invitational, Midnight Madness, where she finished second in the all-around and earned three medals on vault, uneven bars and balance beam. A week later, Bridgey was invited to the US National Training Center. There, Bridgey impressed the US National Team coaches and was selected to represent the USA team at a dual meet against Japan. Bridgey helped the USA team to win a gold medal ahead of Japan and finished third in the all-around. Although awards were not given for the individual events, she had the highest beam score with a 14.25. She had the second highest vault score with a 14.65. In March, Bridgey competed in a small invitational, Flip'r Invitational, where she won the all-around title.

At the end of April, Bridgey received another international assignment. She was part of the USA team that went on the European Tour, where they competed in two different dual competitions. The first dual competition was against Germany in Muelheim, where the USA team earned the team gold medal. Bridgey finished fifth in the all-around and second on uneven bars. A week later, they traveled to Rouen, France. Bridgey helped the United States defeat France. In August, Bridgey traveled to Dallas, Texas for the VISA Championships. There, she finished an impressive third all-around after the first day of competition despite a fall on uneven bars. On the second day, Bridgey was first after third rotation. Unfortunately, on her last event, balance beam, she fell on her double pike dismount. She finished second overall as well as second on vault, sixth on uneven bars and fifth on floor exercise. She, by placing in the top ten, made the US National Team. At the end of October, Bridgey was selected to represent the USA team at the Junior Pan American Championships in Brazil.

Bridgey was injured most of the 2010 season. Nearly a week before the VISA Championships in Hartford, CT, she was cleared to train and compete so she competed on uneven bars and finished ninth. She returned competing fully in 2011 where she was selected to represent the USA team at the City of Jesolo Trophy in Italy. She finished sixth in the all-around and first on uneven bars. In July, Bridgey placed sixth in the all-around and third on uneven bars at the US Covergirl Classic in Chicago, IL. A few weeks later, Bridgey was named to the Senior US National Team after finishing sixth in the all-around and seventh on floor exercise at the VISA Championships.
