CWF Mid-Atlantic TV Taping This Weekend

CWF MID-ATLANTIC RETURNS THIS SATURDAY OCTOBER 2ND IN
BURLINGTON, NC FOR HUGE TV TAPING!

CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington,
NC this Saturday, October 2nd, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a
full card of great action! This huge TV Taping will feature the "The
Rematch of The Rematch!"

THE REMATCH OF THE REMATCH
Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion "Slick" Ric Converse had done
everything in his power to hold on to his title. Defending against
former champion "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel is something that Converse
doesn't want to do again to increase his chances of a lenghty title
reign. Converse retained the title earlier this summer going to a
controversial double countout with Edsel. Commissioner William L.
Cross announced afterwards that the fans deserved to see a winner
and ordered a rematch with no countouts for their rematch that was
held just two weeks ago. This time Converse escaped with the belt
after the 30-minute time limit expired. The commissioner once again
came out afterwards to address the fans about not having a clear
winner. Converse stated that he was "through with Corey Edsel" and
that he was getting no more title shots. Edsel still had one trump
card left. Winning the 1st Annual Johnny Weaver Cup last month gave
him an automatic title match for the heavyweight title. Edsel
quickly informed the commissioner that he wanted that title match on
October 2nd. Commissioner Cross announced the bout to the fans and
they cheered the chance of seeing Edsel get another chance.
Converse quickly countered saying that if he had to defend it
against Edsel this would really be his last shot. Commissioner
Cross agreed but also announced that "the rematch of the rematch"
would have some special stipulations to insure that there must be a
winner... no countouts, no time limit, and no disqualifications!
Edsel's last chance... there must be a winner. Can Converse find
another way to keep the title that means more to him than anything?
This is THE MATCH you can't miss!

TWISTED AGGRESSION FINED AGAIN
The team of Sean Powers & Mitch Norris, known as Twisted Aggression,
are in trouble again. Two weeks ago the duo once again attacked the
Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions, American Steel Ninja & Brass
Munkey, with the steel chain! A previous attack cost the team $500
and a suspension until the fine was paid. This recent attack will
surely draw them another fine. Powers has already notified the CWF
Mid-Atlantic offices that they intend to be there this Saturday to
promptly "take care things." What exactly that means is unclear but
the team will be suspended until they pay this new fine.

WHO'S IN THE HOT SEAT?
Gemini Kid's "Hot Seat" seemed to only stoke the fire as the faction
known as the Dynasty burns to the ground. The tension between Ric
Converse and Brad Attitude nearly exploded into a fight two weeks
ago during the last segment. The surprise return of Brad Rainz adds
even more heat to the flames as everyone questions where Brad
Attitude will stand. The winner of the 2004 CWF Rumble now has the
choice of selecting any title match of his choosing. Dynasty leader
Ric Converse instructed Attitude that he was to choose the Mid-
Atlantic Tag Team Titles and pair up with Converse's "apprentice"
Trent Wylde. Will Attitude do as he is told? And what about that
release form that Gemini asked him to sign that will reinstate
Gemini Kid to active competition? There are more questions than
answers for the future of Brad Attitude and the Dynasty... hopefully
this week's "Hot Seat" will help clear it up!

You'll see all your favorites in action plus much more including the
debut in the CWF Mid-Atlantic of lady wrestler, Venus!

And you just never can tell who might show up...

Don't you dare miss it!

EWA Returns This Friday With John Walters

New England's premier Independent promotion, the Eastern Wrestling Alliance, returns to the Knights of Columbus Hall in Southbridge, MA this Friday night at 7:30pm with a HUGE Triple Main Event! The three main events are as follows:

* EWA Heavyweight Title Match: Cueball (Champion) vs. Luis Ortiz

-Following on the heels of Ortiz's joining of the "Arion Nation" at our last Southbridge event and expressing his frustration at his NEI loss to Cueball, citing injury as the only reason he was eliminated from the tournament, Ortiz now has his chance to get his hands on both Cueball and the EWA Heavyweight Title!

* Street Fight: Maverick Wild vs. Kid Krazy

- In a feud that has been brewing since February, Wild and Krazy have been signed to a no-disqualification falls count anywhere Street Fight. Wild, despite his accolades as former EWA Heavyweight Champion, goes into this match with something to prove as Krazy bested him in their Triple Threat Iron Man Match (with Vince Vicallo) in April, and Maverick was unable to defeat Krazy in their subsequent one-on-one match, instead allowing emotions to get the best of him. Krazy will not have the benefit of that happening again this Friday night...as ANYTHING GOES!!!

* NEI II Rematch: Alex Arion vs. John Walters

- In a rematch of the match that stole the show in this past New England Independent Tournament, whipping the crowd into a vocal frenzy, John Walters returns to the EWA for the first time in a year to meet up with the man who knocked him out of the tournament in the first round, the leader of the "Arion Nation," Alex Arion. If this match proves to be half as memorable as their first, it is definitely one not to miss!

In other action, Vince Vicallo, just off his first loss in Southbridge in almost two full years, at the hands of Alex Arion, takes on Arion Nation member Evagrius...Chi Chi Cruz (w/Pristine Kristine) meets up with Chase Del Monte...EWA Tag Team Champions Clinically Inclined, Adam Booker, Brian Black and Mini, the Goon Squad and all your favorite EWA stars will see action- catch it all this Friday night in Southbridge! Tickets are still only $10 in advance or $12 at the door! BE THERE!!!
