Serbia: New Symphonic version of Nije Ljubav Stvar

Zeljko Joksimovic, the Serbian representative at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, along with the symphonic orchestra of RTS, the Serbian public broadcaster, recorded a new symphonic version of the the Serbian entry Nije ljubav stvar.

The recordings took place at Kolarc Auditorium in Belgrade and the new version of the song will be released soon.

Conductor of the RTS Symphonic Orchestra was Mr. Slavko Jovanovic, while the pianno soloist was Mrs. Zarifa Ali-Zade, who is also directing the Cultural Centre of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Belgrade.

According to Zeljko's team, symphonic music constitutes the finest musical expression and this version of Nije ljubav stvar will make a big appeal to millions of Eurovision fans.

This will be one more version of this year's Serbian entry, after several others in various foreign languages.

Moreover, a video with an instrumental version of Nije ljubav stvar, titled Summer Mix 15 in 1 partly inspired by Greece, with the use of bouzouki among other musical instruments was posted on Zeljko's Offcial Greek Page on Facebook.

Zeljko Jocksimovic is going to perform for the second time as a leading artist on a Eurovision stage, on May 24th, opening the 2nd Semifinal. He has also penned twice in the past the entries of Bosnia & Herzegovina (2006) and of his home country Serbia (2008) and he has been the host of Europe's favorite TV show in 2008, when it was held in Belgrade.

@This is my opinion Wow...how different from what I feel about this song. I find it much more emotional than Lejla or Oro. He managed to find me with this one. This is my favorite among all his ESC songs. But I understand what you mean...Lejla was leaving me really cold, although that entry was also very professional. This year I just love his song. Looking forward to hearing this new symphonic version. I believe that version will show all of the beauty this song can offer. Summer instrumental is interesting and has some greek flavour which I like.

the good thing about this song is only zeljko's voice and composing the song, it is very professional, I respect that, somehow I don't feel anything, its like trying to put blood into the stone, or expecting to warm up in the freezer, the song must come from heart not from the head just too be well composed, there is no real emotion, feeling, there is no soul in this song but zeljko's good work, lane moje was rather emotional although the lyrics weren't impressive, lyrics in this one are not impressive either, you know "your love is not a thing i could give back to you, my love is not a thing I don't know what to do with" then in the end the song change sfrom ballad to uptempo beat, is that what real emotion when you love some one and don't get respond from them!. sorry but this entry is not convincing, its too much relying on zeljko's ability to compose, like france entry last year it was well composed but it had no soul whatsoever, zeljko hit position 2 in 2004 and with his work other artis voiceing it in 2006, and 2008 the results decresed havin 2nd position in 2004, going down to 3rd in 2006 and even out of top 5 position 6th in 2008, now that this entry is souless it can even get lower position but I wonder if zeljko is hiding something that we cant see which will be surprise on esc for victory, nevertheless, its song contest song must come from the heart not just the head, oh well good luck, from this new version its like as if zeljko taking a piss thinking as if esc is easy to win and that he is already a winner, why bother with using yourfingers in your mouth adding to instruments etc to come up with somethin like this

This is one of the best. Sweden is the favourite and ill be really glad to see sweden and 'euphoria' win, but i hope fans and juries will reward quality this year and the rest of the top10 to consist of entries like UK, Serbia, Estonia, Iceland, Israel, Slovenia, Portugal and a few others rather than the usual ones. good luck zeljko
