Hadn't looked at my blog feed in a while and, when I did, found it remarkable how feed readers are now dominated by Google Reader and iGoogle -- usage of all other feed readers is nearly zero -- at least if my blog is any indication. And, sure, this may just be another sign that RSS readers are dead, but it is interesting that the only one still living appears to be Google Reader.

Dare Obasanjo  -  Just because you have subscribers in Google Reader doesn't mean they are checking it regularly.

Greg Linden  -  +Dare Obasanjo True. Just remarking on that there appear to be no other feed readers even hitting the feed (which means people couldn't possibly be reading the blog using other feed readers).

Matthew Hurst  -  I have a similar picture, but Netvibes accounts for a little under 10%. The question to ask is: did subscribers move to twitter as their feed notification mechanism?
