New Life is a member of this multi-denominational movement. Representing thousands of churches it has a strong voice in the media and government.

[ Jesus didn't get involved in government did He? ]

New Life is in fellowship with the Assemblies of God in Gt. Britain and Ireland. The purpose of Assemblies of God is to give every man, woman and child the opportunity of understanding the gospel and to provide a church where they can grow in ministry for the glory of God

[ Assemblies of God Movement is not viable to begin with according to research. One of the Bibles they use is "Full Life Study Bible" in which referencing Scriptures have been changed. They are not historical. ]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since early 2002, a special working group of the Evangelical Alliance theological commission (ACUTE) has been reviewing the Alliance’s Basis of Faith.

In January 2003 the Alliance Board formally instructed the working group to produce a new text to replace the existing Basis, which had itself superseded the original 1846

[1846 is suspect: many cults arose in that time frame, i.e. Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Science of the Mind, etc.]

Basis in 1970. After consultation with EA(UK) Council members and with the Theological Commission of the World Evangelical Alliance, the text was presented to the EA Council at its meeting on 17 February 2005. After careful discussion and refinement it was adopted by the Council in the following form nem con.

In accordance with legal procedure, it was formally incorporated into the Alliance’s Memorandum of Association at its Annual General Meeting on 14 September 2005. The revised Basis of Faith is set out in the proposal below.

We believe in...

1. The one true God who lives eternally in three persons—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

2. The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.

3. The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God—fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.

4. The dignity of all people, made male and female in God's image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.

5. The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ—born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.

6. The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.

7. The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.

8. The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.

9. The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.

10. The Church, the body of Christ both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers—given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit's gifts to worship God and proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love.

11. The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.

[Changes to new statement: historic is gone

The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling and sanctifying work of God the Holy Spirit. is gone

The cell group concept originated in China. It is a way to get deeply involved with the group members to take care of all their needs. I personally found that meeting in this fashion conceived a lot of heresy because people bring their own interpretations to the group and debate. Lay people who have little knowledge of the Gospel but like to entertain are usually heading these groups which is no help in learning more of the Word of God.

The Gospel is not a social Gospel which they are trying to develop in these new movements. The Gospel is about sharing the fact that we need to repent of our sins and ask for the Holy Spirit to come into our hearts and run our lives. If we do what the Bible teaches our lives will be under God's supervision and rarely do we need social services. Social service as the focus redirects our spiritual life into a works oriented Gospel feeding into getting to heaven by works which is out of the question. We need the Word of God on daily basis to have oil in our lamps when Jesus calls us up in the Rapture. We are to have our minds on Christ Jesus, not social issues. We are to separate from the world and be sanctified and of course witness the truth of the Gospel to others. ]

From their website: "The Faith Community Baptist Church in Singapore has been a flagship cell church for over ten years. Even in the midst of success it transitioned to the G12 model of cell in 2002."

[ Assemblies of God holding hands with the "The Faith Community Baptist Church" means that this system is an interfaith church movement which is being developed by the Vatican. The Pope went so far as kissing the Koran. That is where this is heading. It will become a form of Communism. Paul Crouch of TBN, who is fostering this type of thinking as well, said that "Jesus is a Communist." Communism is atheism.]

The previous Basis of Faith

Evangelical Christians accept the revelation of the triune God given in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments and confess the historic faith of the Gospels therein set forth.

They here assert the doctrines which they regard as crucial to the understanding of the faith, and which should issue in mutual love, practical Christian service and evangelistic concern.

The sovereignty and grace of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in creation, providence, revelation, redemption and final judgement.

The divine inspiration of the holy Scripture and its consequent entire trustworthiness and supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

The universal sinfulness and guilt of fallen man, making him subject to God's wrath and condemnation.

The substitutionary sacrifice of the incarnate Son of God as the sole all-sufficient ground of redemption from the guilt and power of sin, and from its eternal consequences.

The justification of the sinner solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ crucified and risen from the dead.

The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling and sanctifying work of God the Holy Spirit.

The priesthood of all believers who form the universal Church, the Body of which Christ is the Head and which is committed by His command to the proclamation of the gospel throughout the world.

The expectation of the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory.

Rationale for the Commission

In September 2000, the Evangelical Alliance Council overwhelmingly endorsed what it believed to be a divinely inspired call to the Alliance membership to be a movement for change, "to reinvigorate Christian witness and make a significant impact on the moral and spiritual heart of the nation". The Alliance recognised that a vision involving Christians working together to transform British culture and society is necessarily long term. It also acknowledged that an essential constituent of the process of societal transformation involved a deep contemporary and forward-looking understanding and conviction concerning the future role of faith and church in the state and nation at the beginning of the 21st century. How could the Church best serve the nation whilst simultaneously challenging the institutions of power to honour God? Only through a better understanding of the relevant historical, constitutional, cultural, sociological, ecclesiological, and other issues could the Alliance legitimately claim to contribute a serious Christian voice to the debate which was already underway in the public sphere, and where secular interests had commenced driving the agenda. The Alliance therefore considered that a wide-ranging expert Commission which adopted an open-minded approach to the question of the future relationship between faith and nation was timely in providing it with the basis and recommendations to enable the Alliance Council to reach its own position from an informed perspective. It further believed that it was a subject which could not be delayed without secular voices leading and dominating the debate, and it hoped through such a study to gain a respected hearing in the public arena.

Socio-Cultural - essentially sociological/cultural/theological investigation into the future place of faith in our society in the context of increasingly secularising/privatising trends.

New Life achieves it's purpose and aim through the G12 Vision

A VISION TO CONQUER THE WORLD

The XXI century church is the one in which pastors will be in a position of responsability that would demand from them greater effort. This will make them work having a business perspective, since the church is the most important enterprise of a nation. What methods will you be using to train the leaders of the future? What plan will you be using on evangelizing your city and your country?

The vision that the Lord has given us is a vision to reach whole nations to conquer the world for Christ. In the new millenium, the church will move on conquering people with full-prepared leaders targeting on the core of the home.

[ Where is repentance? Where does the Holy Spirit come in? They never mention the Bible? This is more of the Dominion Theology ]

We are living through the best moments of spiritual harvest. We are experiencing special days for the conquest of our nations (Psalm 2:7-8). The group of twelve system and home cell groups allow us to proclaim the Gospel and minister to our nation more effectively.

THE VISION IS TO BRING ALL PEOPLES TOGETHER

[This is the Pope's goal not Christ Jesus']

We have a great and powerful God which gives us everything abundantly. However, because of our hearts´ weaknesses, we see everything big, small and with limitations. We then mix the Word of God with doubts that reach our mind. But we have the chance of showing God´s vision has not been given to a specific group, but it is poured into all nations.

In Matthew 28:18, 19, the Lord gives us the Great Comission, inviting us to reach peoples, tribes, languages, and entire nations.

. BRINGING THE CHURCH OUT OF A FOUR-WALL BUILDING
God wants to establish a spiritual revolution in His church and pour the living essence of His Spirit so every believer might know His power. The conquest of the nations means entering spiritual warfare (Joel 3:9, 10)

It is harvest time! We as church, are called to be part of the solution for each nation. We are conquerors; victorious people and full of faith, men and women of war.

[ Is that what Jesus taught?]

By introducing the home cell vision, the principle of the group of twelve, and taking hold of the spiritual armor, we are conquering our nation and other nations for Christ. Doors are being opened; people are coming out of tradition into conquering, the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
AN INSPIRATION FOR ALL NATIONS
The vision the Lord gave us is to inspire whole nations in such a way that those that have put it into practice, are experiencing great unprecedented growth.

[ The Bible calls for Apostasy before the Tribulation. That is what we are dealing with today not unprecedented growth ]

Working on the home cell vision and the group of twelve model is not difficult, because God´s anointing is being poured out for that. The conquest of nations is given through this vision; keeping the fruit growth explotion is destined for your life and your nation.

[God's anointing is not being pored out today. The Bible teaches that in receiving the Holy Spirit when we are born again after we repent of our sins, we have access to the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit and are given gifts by God's choice of various kinds. We are to desire the gifts but God decides which one we receive. We have no control over that. ]

We are in the new millenium and efficient tools are needed to break into the hearts of the lost.

[Since when is the Holy Spirit an efficient tool? ]

THE ENDS OF THE EARCH ARE DESTINED FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD. IT IS TIME TO ENTER AND TAKE POSSESSION OF THEM, CONQUERING THEM FOR CHRIST..
