If you live in Canada, you should pick up the National Post today, because I have this giant giant comic inside. It was supposed to be on a cover, but then Michael Jackson died and shoved me off!

I seek to know more about this Robert Service. He seems to have had his head on straight.

TO THE LIBRARY!

Honestly, I miss the days when Beaton's comics were really funny. The dialogue used to be so snappy! Everything is less biting and toned down now. I understand this is for a national paper and you might be worried about offending someone, but even in her other comics it's the same thing. The personalities used to BE personalities! Now they seem so one-dimensional, which is the opposite of what made her work so appealing in the first place :/

Congratulations! Confused Wolfe is hilarious, but I like the way you've drawn Emily Murphy too. As a Murphy myself I keep vainly searching for some sort of geneological connection, but so far alas.

I don't know any of those people, but it's still hilarious.

Do Canadians talk about explorer David Thompson? I once read Sources of the River, and compared to Lewis & Clark, he's a total rock star of adventure.

Requesting a comic about him.

pretty much ie. it's a worthless paper. the globe and mail is the only one people seem to care about. the only thing worth buying a globe for is the illustration work of kagan mcleod.
