Fashion model-cum-actress Zeba Ali is one of the most sought after models of recent times. She has worked with various top notch fashion designers and photographers. This ravishing eastern beauty showcases every designer's work with supreme elegance and style and is known for doing complete justice to her work. Along with ramp modeling and photoshoots she has a number of TV serials and soaps to her credit as well. MAG caught up with Zeba for a quick chat.

Do you prefer modeling or acting?
I prefer both, because modeling is my profession and acting is my passion.

A role you would love to play that you haven't yet?
I haven't figured that out yet.

Your favourite role so far?
The one that I am playing in the serial Meri Behan Meri Devrani. I think it's a wonderful role and I am loving it.

Do you ever see yourself working in Bollywood?
Ofcourse! If a good offer comes then why not?

Which actor would you like to be paired with in Bollywood?
Akshay Kumar. (laughs)

How do you rate the Pakistani fashion industry?
It's progress is really amazing.

What is the most difficult aspect of modeling?
You have to be on your toes at all times.

Your favourite fashion photographer?
Ather Shahzad and Munna Mushtaq.

Your favourite fashion designer?
HSY and Umer Saeed.

How do you manage to keep yourself so fit?
I workout on a regular basis to stay fit.

Your worst nightmare?
None.

Your biggest asset?
My mother.

There are quite a few.

What has been the best advice given to you?
Live in the moment.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
No idea.

English remains a difficult and inconsistent language to learn, and among its many vagaries are the unusual plurals we come across. This is a fascinating microcosm of oddities. Rather than delving into a detailed discussion let's just have a fun look at some examples.
Let's start with a school favourite; the plural of 'moose' is 'moose'; the plural of 'goose' is 'geese'; but the plural of 'mongoose' is 'mongooses'. A real 'mouse' is 'mice' in the plural, but a computer one is 'mouses'. 'Hair' serves as both singular and plural, and yet 'hairs' is less than 'hair', because it refers to several strands rather than a full head.

Any common plurals with no singular form? Try 'folks', 'alms', 'amends', 'cattle', 'scissors', 'shorts', 'smithereens', and 'trousers'.
Other unusually pluralised words are 'brother', which may be pluralised to 'brothers' but also 'brethren'; 'cherub' or 'seraph', which are pluralised to 'cherubim' and 'seraphim'; and one very common word which you probably didn't know was a plural: 'opera' (the singular form of which is 'opus'). 'Axes' is unusual in that it serves as a plural for two disparate words: 'axis' and 'axe'.
