Ladies & Gentlemen I present you with Labrinth’s official video for his new single ‘Last Time’ shot by award winning director Colin Tilley. The start of the year saw me whisked away to LA where we shot the video, I must say sunshine in January, not really something us Brits are quite used to, it was paradise! I was overwhelmed to be working with the likes of Mr Tilley at the age of 23 he already adds Chris Brown, Rick Ross and Justin Bieber to his roster of clients.
I see the video for Last Time as symbolism for new beginnings, a new journey or adventure. Labrinth has just embarked on his artist career and during the process he’ll see the wonders of the world meet people of all ages and races from all over the globe, this is “a world to be discovered”. The video celebrates difference exemplified in the Alien, we can view Labrinth as this Alien as he’s new to the crazy world that is the music industry! The video is a visual representation of discovery, imagination & experimentation, in this world anything can happen as long as you believe, even elephants jumping on trampolines.
