People are too negative, I to think their past couple of albums have been pretty poor, but I’m willing to give it a chance. The band themselves have all but admitted they feel the same way.

But with John Montoya gone and a new producer on board I think they realised this album could be their last if it doesn’t offer something new. Wait till the first single, and just see. I’m hoping that they can move out of their ‘click click booms’, and into the 21st century.

ah, not being negative… just stating the obvious that Saliva hardly ever breaks for their comfortable formula. now, with that said it is what works for them and they have their own niche but for me at least its come to a point where i’m never excited about new material because everytime I hear a new single or album I feel like I’ve already heard it…

and I don’t really think that Montoya leaving is really going to make a difference… don’t get me wrong, Montoya brought a ton to stage presence for Saliva but otherwise they have always had an issue holding on to that guitar position. So it will be interesting to see how that turns out… but you’re right, sooner or later they may have to pack up camp.

This band just keeps getting worse with every record. I expect their next “greatest hits” record to be blank.
