Recipes for Weight Loss: Leafy Green with Tofu and Peach Blueberry Smoothie



The first recipe is great to incorporate in your vegetarian plan:

Leafy Green with Tofu

Here is what you need:

  •  Leafy greens (Swiss chard, spinach, bok choy) about 500-700g
  • Ginger
  • A box of mushrooms
  • Plain tofu (about 500g)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Several handfuls of cherry tomatoes
  • Juice of half a lemon/lime
  • Soy Sauce

At the end it will look delicious like that:

Peach Blueberry SmoothiePeach Blueberry Green Smoothie

  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 peaches, pitted
  • 1/2 small beet, peeled and chopped
  • 1 head baby bok choy
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1 medium carrot, chopped
  • 4 to 6 ounces of filtered water

Add all the ingredients to your blender (I use a Blendtec) and blend on high for 30 seconds or until the smoothie is creamy.

To make a chilled smoothie, simply use frozen wild blueberries instead of fresh.

Add a tropical flavor note by using 4 to 6 ounces of fresh young coconut water instead of filtered plain water.

You can boost this smoothie by adding your favorite protein powder or raw cacao.
