Also, so we can gather as much StarCraft-y goodness as can be ingested without triggering the gag reflex, anyone who's played in at least ONE of the events of this tournament can have a full day pass for the reduced tournament rate of £10 (usually £20 here in troc)! So if you're coming to cheer on your brothers in arms, get some more games on the go!

In all seriousness, the atmosphere at these events has been great so far so lets try and keep building until we have a proper SC2 community in place. You guys have been awesome over the past couple of months and its you all that make these events what they are; more community = more events = more points = more prizes! So a massive thank you to all the players that attended over the course of the tournament and lets try and make this a final to remember!

On Saturday 19th May, gamerbase Manchester will have extended opening hours for one night only, to bring you an all night social LAN gaming session!

We will be showing the MLG StarCraft 2 US Spring Arena stream in beautiful high definition on our 48" televisions, and holding some fun tournaments throughout the evening. You may play any game of your choice at the event, from our vast collection of PC and console games, but as we would like everyone to play together, the main focus will be on Diablo 3, League of Legends and Starcraft 2 for the PC, and Halo Reach for the Xbox 360.

Last weekend saw the final of the Scotland FIFA 12 Doubles Tournament, with some excellent FIFA all round.

The qualifiers had been set from both the Edinburgh and Glasgow stores, and the best of the best were chosen to come and compete in the final all looking to get their hands on the grand prize, a pair of x12 Turtlebeach headphones.

In the qualifiers one team had struggled to really make any headway, but come the final they were unstoppable, winning the tournament in great style.

The winners of the Scotland FIFA 12 Tournament were FIFABEASTS who walked away with a pair of x12 Headsets as well as a Day Pass each.

We are pleased to announce the two winners of March's month-long SSX Leaderboard Tournament!

Now that the city qualifiers have passed, we get into the serious business of the Grand Final. With the 8 teams from both centres being invited to participate, we are opening it up for anyone else who would like to attend.

We have also decided to add a little spice to the proceedings by having groups of 4 with top 2 going through into a double legged single elimination tournament, with a one off final. Think of it as a Scottish Champions League.

If you are one of the original 8 teams, we would like to offer you the discounted entry fee of £5 per player. Any newcomers will have to pay the original entry fee of £10 per player.

This Saturday 31st March, our first League of Legends 5v5 Summoner’s Rift tournament season will draw to a dramatic close with the national Grand Final!

Summoners from Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Manchester centres will meet on the Fields of Justice and fight for the chance to win £500 hmv gift vouchers, Riot points, special event skins, and more!

The tournament is open to all and there is plenty of opportunity for new teams to prove their skill and win prizes. Simply sign your team up on the appropriate registration page and turn up on the day before 10AM to take part.

With the release of UFC 3 Undisputed a few weeks ago, gamerbase in association with THQ will be running a launch tournament with some amazing prizes up for grabs.

This exciting new game gives gamers a chance to completely immerse themselves in UFC, offering them incredibly realistic fights. gamerbase will be utilising this excellent game to run a tournament, this Saturday 10th at 11am at all 4 gamerbase superstores around the country.

FIFA 12 returns to Scotland with a Doubles Tournament taking place in Glasgow and Edinburgh

FIFA has been a big part of gamerbase's history, and we are set to bring it back for the first time in 2012, this time with a doubles tournament.

There will be two qualifiers, one in Edinburgh and one in Glasgow. The top 4 teams will qualify for the finals, taking place in Edinburgh.
