Ray Cokes

Ray Cokes is a born host. He started his career as a TV host on Belgian national TV channel RTBF in 1982, where he presented the music show Rockbox (in French) which featured alternative music videos and live studio performances.

When MTV Europe launched in 1987 he became a VJ there, presenting programs such as "Cokes and Vanthilt", with co-presenter Marcel Vanthilt and MTV Europe's cult live television series MTV's Most Wanted, the award winning daily show which soon became the most popular one on MTV Europe. For several years he entertained more than sixty million people throughout Europe. Ray became a true legend in the history of MTV. 

In 2009 Ray co-hosted the much appreciated television show Tournée Générale, a 10-part exploration of Belgian beer on Belgian National Broadcaster Canvas with his friend and music producer Jean Blaute. As a result, Ray moved back to Belgium in 2010 where it all started for him. Since the beginning of 2011 the second series of Tourneé Générale runs on Belgian National Broadcaster één.
