OU Board of Regents elects new chairwoman, vice chairman

The OU Board of Regents elected a new chairwoman and vice chairman.

Leslie Rainbolt-Forbes was elected chairwoman, and Richard Dunning was elected vice chairman to the OU Board of Regents, according to a press release.

Rainbolt-Forbes will succeed John Bell, who has served on the board since 2005, according to the Regents website. Rainbolt-Forbes was appointed to the board in 2006 and served as vice chairwoman. She is a alumna of the OU College of Medicine and lives in Oklahoma City.

Dunning will take over for Rainbolt-Forbes as vice chairman. Appointed to the board in 2007, he received his bachelor’s from OU in 1977, according to the Regents website. Dunning also lives in Oklahoma City.
