Why Kew needs your help
Kew couldn’t deliver its important scientific work or maintain its beautiful World Heritage Site without our many generous donors, supporters and members. Plant science is the key to understanding all life on our planet and Kew holds the world’s greatest concentration of knowledge about plants. We work globally to reduce the extent and impact of climate change, to rescue species and habitats from destruction - vital work for which we urgently need your help.
By becoming a Friend of Kew, you not only have free entry to Kew and Wakehurst Place, but your membership helps maintain the magnificent trees, the many thousands of plant species, and the structures and building you see in the gardens.
Everyone can do something to help Kew to deliver its mission to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life. Become a Friend of Kew, Adopt a Seed, make a regular donation by Direct Debit, or give a one-off gift by credit or debit card.

Adopt a Seed, Save a Species - help protect the world's plant life
For £25 you can adopt a seed in Kew's Millennium Seed Bank, or you can save an entire plant species from £1,000.
You'll receive a personalised certificate, featuring a picture of your plant species, as well as regular updates over the year from the Millennium Seed Bank so you can follow the progress of the important conservation work you’re helping to fund. For an additional £2, you can have an Adoption Pack posted featuring the certificate and a full colour picture of your species.
