It's not a pine nor an apple, and it's not native to Hawaii. The tantalizing sweet
pineapple has wonderful tenderizing enzymes and goes especially well with pork, poultry, seafood, sweet-and-sour dishes, and of course, desserts. Try such

Delicious coated
candies are made with
chocolate cake, frosting, and
peanut butter chips, but taste like truffles. These are very easy to make starting with a
cake mix beefed up with extra cocoa. Use a purchased frosting to save time or use your own homemade. You may wish to make the cake the day before. Refrigerate any leftovers.

Pork roasts are more affordable than beef or chicken these days, so why not try this deliciously different recipe?
Cranberry sauce is blended with herbs, spices,
Dijon mustard,
balsamic vinegar, and
Worcestershire sauce for a new taste sensation that pairs beautifully with the mild flavor of pork. Best of all, it cooks in the
crockpot, so you are not heating up the kitchen nor tending a stove. The recipe is easily adaptable to just about any type of pork roast. I suggest using whole-berry cranberry sauce for texture and a more intense cranberry flavor.

Creamy, cheesy
potatoes -- what's not to love? Change up your common potato side dish with these uncommonly good, yet easy, alfredo-style potatoes. Waxy potatoes are specified because they hold together better than russets or Idahos. Any waxy potato will do, such as
Yukon Golds, Red Rose, new potatoes, or fingerlings. The entire recipe is made on the stove-top in about 30 minutes. Kids love these. I could eat the entire batch!
