New York Street Style: What People Are Wearing On The Upper East Side (PHOTOS)

HuffPost Social Reading

For this week's Neighborhood Watch, we traveled to the Upper East Side, where we found a few ladies whose personal style was cooly refined and incredibly well-put- together. And it's no surprise either -- this area is somewhat of a fashion mecca, with stores like Barneys New York, Céline, Chloé and Ralph Lauren sprawling up Madison Avenue. The hangouts are just as chic, with celebrities and socialites dining at Crown or young trend-setters grabbing a box of macarons at Ladurée. They may not be "Gossip Girls," but the stylish set on the Upper East Side definitely know a thing or two about polished dressing.

Check out our favorite Upper East Side street style shots below.

This is what you call POLISHED??? They ALL look like they dressed from a rag bag. Clothes are baggy & dumpy. Adding fancy brand names does not make it style. Crazy!!!
