I've managed to get my first sunburn of the season--a bit earlier than usual. Seems no matter how I try, I still manage to get a patch of sunburn on the back of my neck or shoulders. I've been keeping an eye on Trillium's nose and have a tub of zinc oxide cream in my tack box in case her nose starts to get sunburned. Sunburn and photosensitivity can be a real problem during the summer, especially if a horse gets into some weeds that can make things worse. The article

It's only a short time before the 2012 London Olympics begin!
I know my daughter will be watching the eventing as much as possible, while I love watching and learning from the dressage competitions. What equestrian sport are you looking forward to following? I love history and trivia. Did you know equestrianism is one of the few Olympic sports where men and women compete on equal grounds. The only other Olympic sport that has men and women competing equally is
