The Foundation also provides educational programs in order to advance and promote the values inherent in the 19th century works of the Hudson River School painters. These values include the belief that God created nature and that man should respect and protect nature. Strong national pride of America and her natural unspoiled beauty was a constant theme of the Hudson River School. The Newington Cropsey Foundation strives to maintain and promote these cultural values. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
