Maldives

Maldives were first represented at the Seoul 1988 Olympic Games by a seven-man team in athletics. They have competed only in athletics and swimming events to date. Ahmed SHAGEEF took part in the men's 400m at Seoul 1988, competed in the men's 100m and 200m at Barcelona 1992, and was a member of the 4x100m relay at Atlanta 1996.
