Our mission
In realization of the Church’s mission to care for those in need, the Diocese of Toronto directs its resources to the most vulnerable members of our community. Our work, which is funded by your generosity, helps to sustain the lives of families and individuals in our parishes, communities and internationally.
Annual Giving Programs
- FaithWorks: The annual appeal of the Diocese of Toronto provides support to over a dozen Community Ministries and three Partners helping those in need throughout our Diocese and around the world.
- The Bishop’s Company: The Bishop’s Company Fund provides our Diocesan Bishop with discretionary funds to support emergency needs of clergy and their families, and for special projects not covered in operating budgets of the Diocese of Toronto.
- Anglican Diocese of Toronto Foundation: Incorporated in 1999 as The Good Steward Foundation, the Anglican Diocese of Toronto Foundation provides financial support for the Incorporated Synod of the Diocese of Toronto, or any parish of the Diocese.
Major Gift Campaign
In response to immediate and foreseeable needs, and after prayerful study and consideration, the Diocese of Toronto has initiated the Our Faith – Our Hope: Re-Imagine Church campaign to provide financial resources to meet the challenges facing our parishes and Diocesan ministries.
Legacy Giving
You may make a gift during your lifetime or at death through your Will. Substantial gifts can be made without an immediate outlay of cash/assets, thereby protecting your immediate financial security.
