The B.E. 2500 Great International Pāḷi Tipiṭaka in Roman Script (M) is based on two editions of the International Council Manuscript, namely, the early edition printed in B.E. 2496-2499 (1955-1956) (Ch¹) and the later edition printed in B.E. 2500-2506 (1957-1963) (Ch²) both of which are indicated in a pagination reference in the text, Volume No. 1-38, as (Ch^1-2).
As for the remaining Volume No. 39-40, the Roman-script edition (M) is based on Volume No. 39-40 of the early edition printed in B.E. 2496-2499 which is indicated in a pagination reference in the romanised text, Volume No. 39-40, as (Ch¹) .

ka.-ma.*
refers to other Burmese Tipiṭaka reference in reference notes, mostly Pañcamasaṅgīti Edition.

ka.-sī.*
