The number of martyrs has risen to 40, including 3 defected soldiers (Damascus Suburbs) and 2 women. 9 in Idlib, 8 in Homs, 4 in Daraa, 4 in Aleppo, 4 in Deir Ezzor, 3 in Hama, 3 in Damascus Suburbs, 1 in Lattakia, and 1 in Damascus.

The regime’s security forces raided the Hamidieh district this afternoon, and were backed by armored vehicles, heavy machinery, and other vehicles transporting anti-aircraft missles. This was amid heavy gunfire, which led to the fall of three martyrs and a number of wounded. Mahmoud Al-Jajeh was one of the martyrs. The neighborhood has been sealed amid heavy deployment of security forces; snipers are stationed on the rooftops of government buildings and hospitals. The area is experiencing heavy artillery fire, and columns of smoke are rising. More than 20 tanks and BMPs surround the area from the Industrial Roundabout, the central prison, Asi Square, and the Jab and Aalaf Roundabouts.

The regime’s army raided the Masha’a and Arbaeen neighborhoods amid extensive security deployment. Also, snipers were stationed at the rooftops of governmental buildings and hospitals in the Manakh and Sharqiya neighborhoods

More than 100 persons were injured after the regime’s army shelled the Midani Hospital in the Hamidieh district
