Germantown Academy (Pa.) athletic director Jim Fenerty has announced that Brian Grady will be the school's next varsity boys' lacrosse coach. Grady has spent the past eight seasons as an assistant coach under former head coach David Martin. More
Bridgewater head coach Kim Lowry has announced the hiring of former Hamilton College women's lacrosse standout Lauren Sokol as the Eagles' assistant coach for the 2012-2013 academic year. More

The IWLCA has named three student-athletes as recipients of the Community Awarness Award for the 2011-2012 year, with one honoree coming from each division. Widener's Anna Geeter, Southern Connecticut's Erica Martino, and St. Francis' Catherine Helming were each recognized for their contributions to the community throughout the year. More
Cortland defender Jamie Flood (East Islip) has earned the NCAA's Elite 89 award for the 2012 Division III women's lacrosse season. The award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's 89 championships across three divisions. More
WASHINGTON, May 3, 2012 – The Tewaaraton Foundation has named former Cornell University men's lacrosse coach Richie Moran as the recipient of the 2012 Spirit of Tewaaraton Award. Obituaries

The Loyola University Maryland community is mourning the loss of Adam Pomper, a member of the Class of 2015, who died on Monday, June 11. A native of Huntington, N.Y. and a graduate of St. Anthony's High School, Pomper was a student-athlete on the men's lacrosse team and a communication major. More
Jacksonville University men's lacrosse player Corey Lovrich lost his valiant fight against colon cancer and passed away overnight in New York, according to teammate Jake Ziegler. More
Long-time former Yale head men's lacrosse coach Bob McHenry, 76, passed away on April 11, 2012 from complications due to pneumonia. He was also a long-time collegiate and high school official and a member of the Connecticut Lacrosse hall of Fame. More
