Track - 6/22/2012 Track & Field Academic All-Americ...Conference USA placed four student-athletes on the 2012 Capital One Academic All-America® Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams. Rice had three honorees in seniors BECKY WADE, MATT CAREY and DANIEL SLOAT while senior RHIANNON JOHNS represents UAB. Track - 6/15/2012 C-USA Claims Gold, Silver and BronzeConference USA closed the 2011-12 track and field season by earning 25 United States Track and Field/Cross country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) First and Second team All-America honors and a gold, silver and bronze medal at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Overall the league has won four national titles and placed seven athletes on the NCAA medal podium over the last two indoor and outdoor track and field seasons. Track - 6/9/2012 Demydova Wins National Title in the...Southern Miss' Ganna Demydova turned in a gold medal performance in the triple jump competition at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a school-and-meet record mark of 14.20m (46-7.25) at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.
