The Tale Of Sir Gemund PDF Print E-mail

Some of you will note the similarities in certain verses to those in the Ogre Kingdoms book, rest assured, the verse was created before my reading of this, so it is not inspired by that. Only that final verse is based upon the last stanza of the Ogre Kingdoms Poem, as i could'nt think of a way to end it.

Many Thanks

The White Knight

PS: took me 10 minutes to write that!

A shorter ballad I have written that I believe is somewhere on this site under a thread called Bretonnia's Anthem. Long ago I wrote this and it is a tad short so excuse this for being a short "article"

I hope you all enjoy this short bit of poetry from me, yet again!

I bring you yet another ballad of Bretonnian history and tale! A glorious fight in the long days ago where in the midst fo fighting the Chaos hordes that did come upon us fled before our wrath and the knights that did chase them down could have sworn... that they were crying in defeat.

Happy Reading (Singing?) - Jean-

In the darkness
beyond our sight
the chaos grew
readying for the fight

Many's the time
Bretonnia had saved
our land from its doom
our path righteously paved

My love for poetry and of the written word has sent me into a blaze of writing poetry for Bretonnians to sing about in the days of darkness. There will be a series of poetry coming to the backgrounds of Bretonnia soon as I will keep writing. I bring you Until the Faithful Die. Also found in the Fortress Within.

And so do we sing,
our spir-its high
the foe struck down below us
our faithful steeds do fly

and no horse without its rider
strides forth from the deep
as chaos struggles before us
as virtuous we keep
