Marvel congratulates Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley on their record breaking run on Ultimate Spider-Man. Spanning one-hundred and ten issues, their groundbreaking achievement received acclaim from fans, critics and industry legends, reinventing the legendary wall-crawler for a new generation. BrokenFrontier.Com's Kert McAfee called the Bendis & Bagley creative run "historic," adding, "Bagley's mastery of the action sequence as well as character emotion could only be outshined by his amazing ability to churn out pages at a blinding rate. For all that speed, none of his work suffers at all."

Now the torch is being passed, as series penciler Mark Bagley leaves Ultimate Spider-Man, handing over the reigns to the always amazing Stuart Immonen (Ultimate Fantastic Four, Ultimate Spider-Man #111. Though Bagley will be sorely missed, one look at Immonen's art and fans will fall in love with Marvel's premiere Ultimate series all over again. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Marvel is pleased to offer 50/50 variant covers, featuring the unforgettable art of Bagley & Immonen.

Ultimate Spider-Man #111 also marks the beginning of a whole new chapter in Ultimate Spidey's life, as Aunt May and Peter have, perhaps, the most important conversation of their lives. Poignant and heartbreaking, this is the perfect issue for fans new and old to reconnect with everyone's favorite friendly neighborhood hero-not to mention the introduction of a new villain! Prepare yourselves for, drum roll please, the Ultimate Spot?

It all happens in July, so don't miss Ultimate Spider-Man #111, beginning a bold new era for Spider-Man and the Ultimate universe!
