What a joy! MZ was one of the forerunners in the production and development of mini electric scooters. Many years ago, when most manufacturers still considered e-mobility to be a foreign word, MZ began with the production of its cult scooter CHARLY. It really doesn’t matter whether your journey’s for business purposes or simply just for pleasure... CHARLY, CHARLY EVO and 3Wheel CHARLY are ready to take you wherever you want to go… • To the shops or the bakery

 Stay mobile with CHARLY The intelligent combination of various modes of transport enables us to stay mobile. In just a few easy steps CHARLY can be folded down and conveniently stowed away. In the folded down position, CHARLY can be easily moved or even carried with one hand, and will fit into the boot of almost any car, in your mobile home or on a yacht. Law and safety (German Regulations)If you were born before 01.04.1965, you don’t need a driver’s license to be able to ride a CHARLY scooter; however if you were born after this date you must have a current car driver’s license or a license for mopeds. Emission-free with proven technology.   When in motion, Charly’s electric drive produces a tranquil, almost happy-sounding humming noise. Recharging the battery is easy: Simply plug the internal battery connector plug into a socket and, depending on how low the battery is, in five hours or even less the battery is recharged and Charly is ready for the next 20 kilometres or more of adventure. Electricity consumption for 100 km = approximately 25 cents (based on electricity prices in Germany) Low-maintenance is so much more convenient:It’s so easy to take care of Charly. If all the instructions in the operating manual are adhered to correctly, Charly’s battery is maintenance free!
