Description
2 out of the 3 users we tested had a hard time finding a link to view their site from the admin.
What if we simply added the word “Visit” in front of the site title in the toolbar when you are in the admin, and to delete the single drop down option when you’re not using multi-site.
The view of the menu from the site would stay the same. Something like this:
Props to @sabreuse for the idea.

For consideration. lessbloat will test the heck out of this and perhaps a couple of different configurations.
Discussed briefly in UI bug scrub today. Testing scenarios should probably also include changing the front end text to read "Dashboard" for the top level item as well as only changing the link in the admin. Reasoning behind changing the text on both sides is that once it's not consistent anymore, it quickly becomes even more confusing what it does without the action identifier.
This actually just happened to me: Scrolled way down on a P2, reading. Wanted to go back home, so clicked on the site title item in the toolbar. Got taken back to the dashboard and was momentarily a little confused as to what I had done. I should know better - surely this happens to somebody else who is not (supposed to be) a power user.

You might have been tripped up if you were used to WP.com, which does link back to the front page.
Quick stab at a patch for this
