Concert: A free concert by bands from the St. Johns County School of the Arts and the University of Tampa Band will be presented from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Plaza de la Constitucion downtown.

Fund-raiser: The Rotary Club of St. Augustine will host "Casual at the Casa Monica," a fund-raiser for childrens' and family charities, starting at 6 p.m. Friday in the Grand Ballroom of the Casa Monica Hotel. Earth Day: Washington Oaks State Park will hold an Earth Day celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the park, 6400 N. Oceanshore Blvd., Palm Coast. Film: The Film Society of St. Augustine will present a student film festival with 17 entries from St. Johns County high school students in the Jim Harbin Student Media Festival at 7 p.m. Saturday at the St. Augustine High School Auditorium, 3205 Varella Ave. The festival will raise funds for Hastings Elementary School's Books for Babies program.

Garage sale for culture: The St. Johns Cultural Council Garage Sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday inside the new Cultural Arts Center located next to the St. Johns County Pier on St. Augustine Beach.
