Sead Hajrovic

Sead is one of a new generation of Swiss hopefuls making their way through the Arsenal ranks.

Following in the footsteps of both Philippe Senderos and Johan Djourou, Sead joined the Club from Grasshopper Zurich in summer 2009 and has since established himself as a key figure in the reserves at right back.

The tenacious defender, who is also comfortable as a centre half, spent five months on loan with Barnet in League Two last season, making 10 appearances as the Bees avoided relegation.

The Brugg-born defender was part of the Switzerland side that won the Under-17s World Cup in 2009.
