According to the IMDB, it's a T-34 modified to look like a Tiger:

Saving Private Ryan also used a T-34-based Tiger replica:

T-34 wheels/tracks and the position of the turrent is too far forward but this is still better the a US M-48 or M-60 "Tiger Tank".

Yes, it is a conversion based on the Soviet KhPZ (Kharkov Steam-Engine Factory) T-34.

Fake or not, I adore these tanks. They were my favorites when I was a kid. There are three of them in the end sequence: 112, 113 and 115.

Tiger 115 is the main one, the one used by Karl Otto Alberty's character who Clint Eastwood and the gang have a high-noon showdown with and the only one to survive the movie:

Tiger 113 is the "supporting" tank whose commander was killed by the American sniper at the beginning of the battle while poking out of the turret, which gets shot "in the ass" after being accidentally blasted with paint-filled shells:

[Image: tiger8.9323.jpg][Image: tiger9.1292.jpg][Image: tiger10.2103.jpg][Image: tiger12.374.jpg]

Tiger 112, featured in the main pic, does nothing. It gets blasted right at the beginning of the battle and spends the remainder of the film a burning wreck. At the end, after the town is liberated and the fire has died down, some children climb on it. Which kind of bugs me considering the dead crew must still be inside of it. Hope the kids don't get too curious and try to open the hatch.

M60s never portrayed Tigers; M47s did.

Didn't they use M60s as German tanks in "Patton"? True they were not label as "Tigers" per se, but .......

I dont think so. When they were filming Kelly's Heroes they got three original t-34s. Clint wanted the movie to be realistic and he and a few other actors that were history buffs where behind getting them to look like tigers.
