Established in 1987, the Southern Regional Library Facility (SRLF) provides space for University of California library materials, archives, and manuscript collections.  Lower-use materials, for which there is not adequate shelving space on campus, are located in the SRLF and are retrieved and transported to campus libraries upon request.
