- "Political Correctness" (PC) is for timid, insecure, fearful people and is promulgated by holier-than-thou, self-righteous nanny-types who want to protect everyone & everything from...Life. The price of Freedom is not only on the battlefield; it's also in tolerating people & things not quite to our individual tastes. That includes folks who may be boorish and ignorant. Good grief---just ignore them. Be secure enough in your own self-image so as to have the strength to shrug off insults, ignorant characterizations, etc. Long live Archie Bunker...faults and all.
