Disney Channel Renews 'A.N.T. Farm' for Third Season
The cable network has ordered more episodes of the music-centric series.
Disney Channel has ordered another season of A.N.T. Farm, the cable network announced Tuesday.
Production on the third season will begin in Los Angeles this December, with the new episodes premiering June 2013.
Season three of A.N.T. Farm will follow Chyna Parks, Olive Doyle, Fletcher Quimby and Lexi Reed as they are accepted into a prestigious A.N.T. (Advanced Natural Talents) boarding school.
"A.N.T. Farm is a series that was initially inspired by our audience's love for stories about uniquely talented kids," said Adam Bonnett, senior vice president, original programming at Disney Channels Worldwide. "Our new direction for season three allows us more opportunities to showcase the A.N.T.s, their unique talents and the dedication it takes to follow your dreams."
The series was created by Dan Signer (The Suite Life on Deck) and is executive produced by Signer and Stephen Engel (The Big Bang Theory). China Anne McClain, Sierra McCormick, Jake Short and Stefanie Scott co-star.
A.N.T. Farm launched in June 2011 and ranks as the top show in its time period in several kids demographics.
