Global ReLeaf Grant Application

Global ReLeaf is now accepting applications for restoration tree planting projects.  Since 1990, Global ReLeaf has supported the planting of over 40 million trees, both domestically and internationally.  Global ReLeaf projects have addressed a variety of needs and issues, including restoration of wildlife habitat and watersheds, recovery from natural disasters, societal and recreational benefits, expansion of urban forests and more.  We are currently accepting applications for 2013 to continue this legacy of restoring areas in critical need of reforestation.  We are particularly interested in partnering with groups that include qualified individuals with disabilities and other diverse groups in our reforestation grant making program.

The Global ReLeaf grant program provides private dollars to support reforestation efforts on public lands.  Competitive grantees must maximize the use of total project funds per tree planted.  We will begin accepting applications electronically or by mail on September 17.  All applications and required documents must be completed and submitted by October 15 2012.

If you have any questions regarding the application or grant process, please contact Megan Higgs at 202-737-1944, ext. 219 or mhiggs@americanforests.org.
