Date of Capital One Cup quarter-final Norwich clash confirmed
It will take place on Tuesday December 11 at Carrow Road, with a 7.45pm kick-off. The draw is Villa's third away game in a row in the competition, having already won at Manchester City and Swindon this season. The Canaries, meanwhile, booked their place in the last eight with a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur. The game also means Paul Lambert is set for an exciting cup reunion with his former club. But that's certainly not the focus according to the boss. He said: "My reaction to the cup draw is the same reaction as regards playing them in the league. "I don't really get caught up in it, I really don't and that's me being totally honest. "I've been involved in enough games to think it's another game we'll go and try and win. "It's my old club for whom I have fond memories. That's the draw we've been given and it's another tough game." Elsewhere, the quarter-final draw has pitted Leeds United at home to Chelsea, while Arsenal will travel to League Two side Bradford City and Swansea will host Middlesbrough.
