Abstract (Document Summary)

[Matthew Amorello] spoke after Turnpike Authority officials opened a new off-ramp from Interstate 93 south to Albany Street - the final major highway tie-in left to be completed in the project.

While some work remains to align downtown surface streets and patch walls in the Interstate 93 tunnel, Amorello said major construction is finished except for work to complete the Rose Kennedy Greenway parks downtown. The string of parks is scheduled for completion in spring 2007.
