Biography

In March 1908 James Beale finished well down the field in the International Cross-Country but the following month he was the runner-up to Alex Duncan in the AAA 10 miles. He placed second to Duncan in the Polytechnic Olympic marathon trial (22.5 miles) in 1908.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-45:35.0 (1912).
