NAME COURSE/INFORMATION
Members of the American Institute of Homeopathy offer two types of educational seminars to promote the understanding and use of homeopathic medicine.
1) Distance-learning seminars may consist of audiotapes, CDs, or DVDs, or may be offered online, with or without written materials, and with or without the opportunity for telephone consultations. The advantage of these seminars is access to the seminar from any locale and the opportunity to progress through the seminar at one’s own pace. These seminars may be reviewed by members of the Education Committee of the American Institute of Homeopathy and, if judged to be in accordance with the basic principles of homeopathy as expressed in the Standards of Practice , it may be endorsed by the American Institute of Homeopathy.
2) Classroom-learning seminars may be taught by one or more teachers, usually in their home city, with or without written materials, and may consist of one or more sessions. The advantage of these seminars is the opportunity for live interaction with the teacher(s) and other students. Because these seminars may change over time, there is no review, and thus no opportunity for endorsement.

Dr. Bark has lectured at the Mayo Clinic/University of Chicago's conference on integrative medicine: "Homeopathy: Past, Present and Future". She has presented Dr. Rustom Roy's research at the Penn State Materials Lab on Raman Spectroscopy and homeopathy.

Dr. Berquist gives two, introductory, homeopathy lectures per year to medical students at UW Medical School, in Madison Wisconsin. He has a regular stream of medical students, and the occasional resident, coming thru his office as part of their rural preceptorship experience. In their clinic they are able to experience homeopathy in a family practice/integrative medicine setting, during the 6-8 weeks they spend in that community.

Dr. Boyer is an internationally recognized authority in the education, and practice, of homeopathy. He holds a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Montpellier, in France. Dr. Boyer maintained a private practice, specializing in family medicine, for more than 20 years; he has lectured extensively for the CEDH, throughout France and the United States. From 1992 to 1998, he served as the senior lecturer in charge of the medical homeopathic division of the Technikon Natal, a post-graduate educational institution, in Durban, South Africa. Dr. Boyer is a founding member of the International Medical Homeopathic Organization (IMHO), and an honorary member of the South African Homeopathic Medical Association (SAHMA).
The Center for Education and Development of Clinical Homeopathy (CEDH) was founded in 1972 with the aim to give physicians the most reliable knowledge on homeopathy in a clear, pragmatic, clinical approach. To learn homeopathy is not only to obtain new theoretical and practical knowledge, but also to acquire the know-how that will allow its integration into everyday medical practice. The teaching methodology of the CEDH is based on: medical clinical reality; homeopathic medicines as a therapeutic choice based on their place in conjunction with other therapeutic possibilities; reliability of the sources; references to current medical knowledge.

Dr. Cseak runs a homeopathic study group. It is ongoing, layperson oriented, for basic
first aid, acute care, and general interest topics. The group meets once a month, on the second Wednesday of each month, at the Cuyahoga Falls Library (Ohio), from 10 am to noon. There is no charge for attending.

Dr Fleisher teaches to a professional homeopathic study group for MD's DO's PA's and RN's in his office, once a month, to establish a group of well trained homeopathic practitioners, looking to, eventually, becoming the foundation faculty for a homeopathic, clinical and teaching, medical center in the Charlottesville, VA vicinity.

Dr. Irwin is a natural teacher, having taught high school math and science for 7 years, prior and during my medical education. He is not offering any courses in homeopathy currently, but may in the future.

Dr. Moskowitz has two weekend seminars scheduled for the spring of 2008. One is in Portland, ME, May 18-19-20. The other in Northampton, MA June 1-2-3. They include: a Friday night lecture, "What Homeopathy Has to Offer"; a Saturday Seminar, "Hidden in Plain Sight: Vaccines and Chronic Disease", which considers vaccination, as a special case of medical thinking; a Sunday seminar: "A homeopaths Looks at Conventional Medicine", which identifies some basic problems with the medical system, and how homeopathic medicine addresses them. He is planning other such seminars involving a different topic for Saturday, such as: the drug industry, surgery, malpractice, diagnostic testing, research, etc. Friday and Sunday seminars will remain, more or less, the same.

Dr. Riley teaches the Homeopathy Course for the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, in Tucson, on an annual basis. In order to take the course you have to be a fellow in the PIM Integrative Medicine Fellowship.

AMCH Distance Learning Program I
This course is designed to teach beginning students the essentials of classical homeopathy and to begin first aid and acute prescribing. The course prepares physicians (MD’s and DO’s), in part, for the homeopathy licensing exam in Arizona. This course is not limited to MD’s and DO’s; it is an excellent program for anyone wishing to learn the basics of homeopathy.
AMCH Distance Learning Program II
This course synthesizes practical case taking and case analysis, materia medica, sample constitutional cases (on 7 DVDs, loaned to the student), and acute cases. It includes 3 audio CDs, and a course notebook, self-paced quizzes and two one-one telephone consultations with the instructor. The course also helps prepare physicians (MD’s and DO’s) for the homeopathy licensing exam in Arizona.

Dr. Shore's goal is to share what he has learned over the past 40 years about Health, Healing, Nutrition, Homeopathy, Cranial Osteopathy, Functional Medicine, and how to personalize health programs. Sharing information, one-to-one, at office visits reaches relatively few people. He offers Wednesday evening informational meetings for those interested in learning more about their core health. The cost is only $20 per person for each meeting, which will cover information usually provided during 60 to 90 minutes, of a 2-3 hour new patient appointment. You will leave with information necessary to start your own healing without a doctor. You can make a lot of progress on your own and, if necessary, come in later for an initial office appointment. Dr Robert Schore will conduct these 90-minute evening sessions which address our COREhealth philosophy, what is good food, basic nutrition, how not to take drugs, the basics of homeopathic first-aid at home, and many other topics. We encourage you to attend these sessions and learn about your true potential for health and healing. There will be time for questions and answers.

Co-teaches a course offered at the New York Medical College, Department of Community and Preventive Medicine, for physicians only. The course is an Introduction to Homeopathy. It is offered every one to two years. The duration of the course is two days, CME credit is available through NYMC. The next expected date of offering is October 2008, coinciding with the Joint AIH/HMSSNY conference.
