Supreme Court Justice Frank E. Johnson in Brooklyn dismissed yesterday a habeas corpus action brought by counsel for Harry (Pittsburgh Phil) Strauss, one of the leaders of the Brooklyn murder syndicate, to compel the warden of the Brooklyn City Prison to permit Strauss to have a psychiatrist of his own choosing examine him as to his sanity before his murder trial on Sept. 9.
