Louis (Lepke) Buchalter, one of the most powerful racketeers in the country's criminal annals, and his two henchmen, Emanuel (Mendy) Weiss and Louis Capone, were convicted in Kings County Court at 2:45 A.M. today of charges of first degree murder, carrying a mandatory penalty of death in the electric chair.
