Three Muslim militants—Hasanudin, Haris, and Irwan Irano—have confessed to the vicious murder and beheading of three Christian schoolgirls in Poso, Indonesia October 29th, 2005.

Ida Yarni Sambue, Theresia Morangke, and Alrfita Poliw were beheaded in the machete attack while walking to school. A fourth girl, Noviana Malewa, was severely wounded and today bears the scars of the brutal attack.

Photographs of the girls are available courtesy of dog-pundit. Let’s remember these young ladies and never forget them. God bless them and their families. We love you.

One final thought if I may; I can’t help but think of this scripture from the book of the Revelation:

Revelation 20:4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

That particular verse pertains to a future time when God will judge mankind during a period known as the “Tribulation.” The beheading of the Christian schoolgirls in Poso certainly seems to give us a look at what faces those that confess Jesus as Lord during that time.
