Wonga.com triumphed at the Tech Track 100 awards – a Sunday Times event rewarding the companies with the fastest-growing sales

Britain’s elite technology companies came together last week at the 11th annual awards dinner celebrating the Tech Track 100, the private technology companies with the fastest-growing sales.

Wonga.com was the fastest-growing company with sales of £74m — up 361% a year over the past three years.

Robin Klein, Wonga’s chairman, and Panni Morshedi, head of technology, collected the top award from Scott Dodds of title sponsor Microsoft.

The Sunday Times presented the best brand award to Kaspersky Lab for its antivirus software.

Software developer Concentra Consulting won Microsoft’s innovation award for its work with hospitals. BDO’s best management team prize went to Music Magpie, the online CD and DVD trader. Barclays Corporate presented the Ones to Recognise award to Mendeley, a platform that shares academic research, backed by Skype’s founding engineers.
