Red Bee Media to create multi-platform identity for gaming channel Ginx TV

Ginx TV, the international TV channel dedicated to video gaming, has appointed Red Bee Media to create a brand identity.

Following a 5-way competitive pitch, Red Bee Media has been appointed by Ginx TV to create a multi-platform brand identity and on-screen presentation ahead of its planned UK launch.

Launched in 2007, Ginx TV is the only international, multi-language TV channel exclusively dedicated to video gaming, targeted at 12-44 year old casual gamers. Ginx has already launched 24/7 channels in Indonesia and Turkey as well as producing shows for third party broadcasters, including GameFace for Bravo in the UK and Ginx Files for international territories.

Ginx TV aims to do for gaming what MTV did for music. The UK launch, announced at the Edinburgh Festival in August 2010, will be followed by the roll-out of fully localised channels in key global markets.
