Charlotte Lacrosse club has been around since 1979. There is also a Masters club based in Charlotte as well. There are teams in Raleigh, Asheville, and Wilmington. Greensboro has had teams in the past. Maybe they do again based on this article. I am sure I am missing some. There are also a number of teams in SC.

I was in Greensboro for Thanksgiving and watched a couple of adult league night games held at a school near Summerfield. Looked like around 40 players of mixed density from ex college players to old guys (over 40...sorry) to current college guys on vacation. Very enjoyable evening of lacrosse. There was even an old Barrage helmet in the mix.

Go to the US lacrosse website. There is a web page for post collegiate clubs. If you can't find anything for NC, e-mail me and I will try to get you more information. laxcomm@juno.com

My name is Chris and I live in Asheboro, NC, not far from Greensboro and High Point. I am interested in getting a club team started in this area. Is anyone interested in the nearby areas if I start something in Asheboro? I am also trying to get youth lacrosse started in Asheboro and it would be a great opportunity to spread the game to the youth.
